1976 Dodge 4X4 shortbox stepside no rust! Has a 360 engine with a new Melling 488 lift cam, matching lifters, and double roller timing chain. 4 barrell thermoquad remanufactured carb, headers, rebuilt 727 automatic transmission, new master brake cylinder, all new weatherstripping in doors and vent windows, new carpeting, seat in great shape with no tears, In dash factory tachometer, no cracks in dash or windows, original radio. dash has not been cut up or messed with. I also replaced the door window regulators so they all work fine.
This pickup drives and rides very nicely. Paint is a good 20 footer, not perfect not bad, wood bed box has bad parts, the ends of about two of the boards are broken off. Has nice wheels and good tires, not new, but decent tread for another year depending on how many miles you put on it.
The tach and fuel gauge do not work at this time. I am working on getting those fixed. The speedometer runs about 10 miles per hour slow, so when it says 45 you are doing 55, don't know why that is? Front end does not wander or shake, rearend is quite, 4 wheel drive works well.
I bought this truck from a friend of mine who needed money. I am not a Mopar person and already have a pickup so don't need this one. Since purchasing it, I put in the cam and lifters and timing chain, carpet, master cylinder, weatherstripping. I Want it to be reliable and fun for a prospective buyer.
I have this vehicle for sale locally also, so retain the right to remove it from the auction at any time.
