Truck is clean and straight.Good condition.
The truck is 20 yrs. old and is not perfect. Needs some TLC.
The truck has been my daily driver for two years now and I have had very few problems.
The transmission will need to be replaced/rebuilt at some time in the near future. When it is cold it slips slightly in first and sometimes goes into first or reverse hard.
Once it is warmed up, no problems. I put some Lucas Transfix in it at Christmas and it helped.
I am selling the truck because I am moving to Colorado and need 4 wheel drive.
I have replaced:
shocks and tires/ 10 months ago, alternator, ign. coil, pickup coil, plugs, wires and rotor/15 months ago, Battery and battery cable ends/ 6 weeks ago,
front wheel bearings and passenger side spindle/ 8 months ago, water pump, upper, lower and bypass hoses, fail safe thermostat/ 4 months ago.
all belts/18 months ago.
A/C works but needs to be charged and I think the compressor clutch is starting to make noise.Great opportunity to switch system over to 134a.
The truck has a pioneer supertuner three, am/fm/cd and jensen 6x9 speakers in the door as well as speakers behind the seat. Nothing special, but a
decent little system.
Truck has 318 c.i. small block and gets pretty good mileage for a full size truck.( the 318 can be built up to a 360 or 402 if your inclined.)
A 360 will bolt up from what I have been told.
I purchased this vehicle used.
