Your looking at a retired mechanics project truck.
This is a 1953 Dodge 1/2 Ton with a Chevy 262ci (V6) and a 700R4 4 speed automatic transmission. This truck is in excellent mechanical condition which easily starts runs and shifts smoothly. The engine and transmission were bought new and installed in 2004. The front suspension, Drive line are in great shape and are off of a 1987 Chevy. The gauges are Stewart Warner and the headlights are from a 1968 Mercedes 250. The Bucket seat was off of a mid 90's Ford pickup (fold down armrest). Cd player installed and works great, A/C installed but needs freon in order to work. This truck was built up and running strong since 2004 and only has 10,350 miles. As for a little bad news.. The truck has a few small spots of minor surface rust (should easily be sanded off and primed). The windshield has a small crack, and the front fenders have a couple small cracks due to fiberglass installed on the sheet metal body (fenders are fiberglass). The truck will have to be sold due to an inheritance of a couple more vehicles and the lack of space to have them all. This truck is beautiful with the classic looks and some modern enhancements to make this an ideal daily driver or potential show truck. $200 deposit will be required in 72 hours after auction ends, buyer is responsible for pickup and delivery of vehicle.
