1976 DODGE D200 Custom Clubcab Pickup Truck 3/4 Ton
Offering my special Pickup, "The Bunny", for Sale! (It just keeps on going and going...! =0). Two Tone Green with lots of chrome...a 1976 DODGE D200 Custom Clubcab 3/4 Ton Pickup! NO RESERVE! WINNER - PLEASE CONTACT US AT END OF ITEM AD REGARDING DEPOSIT AND OR FULL PAYMENT PLUS PICK UP SCHEDULE. Has only had two owners so far. While living in Alaska, I bought it(Fall 1998) from a trusted friend who bought it new. She used it occasionally to haul a horse trailer with horses to town and back (about 18 miles total trip), or to fetch grain or hay. She had a car to use for driving to work. When I bought it the odometer read about 34,000 miles (It now reads 110818). Otherwise it sat. We successfully hauled a fully loaded horse trailer 4,000+ miles to Kansas. My brother-in-law was flabbergasted! Because of the sitting unused, I soon had to replace much of the hoses, and the tires, etc. Left undone was the seal around the windshield, which now leaks a little during heavy rains, and needs attention. It survived two round trips, Kansas to Phoenix, Arizona, with a fully loaded horse trailer; plus numerous trips to local farms to fetch near-tons of hay. While in Arizona, the truck was Inspected (and Passed) Emissions Control. I still have the paper for it. The plastic on the bench seat is worn through now - see the photos. There are two rust holes in the driver's side floor that need attention - see photo - or driving could some day resemble the Flintstones. The exterior also has lots of rust on the body and wheel rims. It does have a Brand New set of Firestone Transforce HT tires (8.75R16.5LT). I had them installed before it's last major trip from NW Kansas into East Oklahoma, towing my horses to their new home. The trailer had been sold to a tire dealer, who took possession of it upon our return. The truck has not been used since then (Oct 07). It has a CB system, which is virtually useless. Perhaps a knowledgeable person could use it... I have the tailgate. Removed it beause the latch is broken and it takes three men and a boy to drop the gate... =0) It will be included with the truck. Included with the truck is a Heavy Gauge Steel Plate which I had constructed especially for the truck before leaving Alaska in 1998. It is for hooking up a Goose-neck Trailer. The Plate bolts to the truck frame through the truck bed. Wiring for trailers (both goose-neck and bumper pull) will most likely need work. Bumper pull trailer hitch is included, too. It has a standard ball. The truck has heavy duty shocks. The truck's 360 engine runs very well after it's warmed up. Being a big engine, it is temperamental sometimes at startup. Watch the oil, transmission fluid and brake fluid levels, and this truck will be a workhorse for you, too! I trust The Bunny as backup, in case my car fails to start. But as I no longer have my horses and trailer, I really can't justify keeping it. It's time to let it go. There is NO warranty implied, stated or otherwise. I have tried to describe it as well as possible, and took LOTS of photos, too. Not being a mechanically inclined person, I'm sure there are some errors and omissions (I apologize!).
