The truck title matches the body which is a 1985 Dodge Power Ram equipped with a 318 V8. However, the motor and transmission have been replaced with a 440 big-block and a 727 TorqueFlite transmission. I did this about 10 years ago because I liked the additional power. When I did the swap I had the motor, transmission and transfer case completely rebuilt. The motor has an Edelbrock aluminum intake and carburetor, Accel coil, heavy duty 8mm spark plug wires, Doug Thorley headers and Flowmaster dual exhaust. The transmission had a planetary gear set installed along with a TSI stall converter. The truck is equipped with A/C under the hood and in the cab, but the system will need charging. It currently has TSL SuperSwamper tires with great tread. The body has dents or scratches on every panel and would be an excellent project for someone who enjoys challenging body work. I was going to take the drive line out of the truck and put it in an old muscle car but just don't have the time to do it. I drove the truck back and forth to camp for about three or four years after I put the motor and transmission in it (approximately 25,000 miles), but haven't driven it in six or seven years except when I move it to cut the grass around the shop once a month. It could use a minor tune up, but it still runs strong. This is all that comes to mind right now.
