1983 Dodge B350 1-ton 4x4 cargo van. 4x4 conversion done right after factory by upfitter. This is a rare vehicle as the factory never made a 4x4 full size van.
The good: The drivetrain consists of a low-mile rebuilt 360 v8 with a newer edelbrock carb, auto tranny (727 I think), NP205 transfer case, new front driveshaft, dana 44 front axle, and a dana 60 rear axle. The engine has a new fuel pump and a newer alternator.
The so-so: The tires are about 50% or less and will need replaced. The interior is bare with only the 2 front seats and they are not all that great. The tranny has a small leak on the pan gasket. Nothing too bad, but it will leave some oil drops on the driveway.
The ugly: The body has a rust problem around the rear wheels and other areas. It is certainly fixable in my opinion but I am not a body man so I am not sure what this would cost.
On Jul-23-08 at 20:52:43 PDT, seller added the following information:
Unknown axle gear ratio but would estimate 3.73:1
Looks like windsheild has enough cracks to need replacement soon
Bidders from states that require safety inspections may have issues with the rust.
NO emissions guarantees.
Please keep in mind the cost to transport/drive this vehicle long distances would be expensive.
I can mount a towbar on the van (for cost of materials ~$75) so winning bidder can tow it off.
