1998 Dodge Stratus. Charcoal exterior and Gray interior. It has a 185000 miles on it. I bought i off the second owner. The lady was a nurse. I bought this car just as a quickly since i let someone borrow my car and blew the engine. Since i have had this car i have: Given it a tune up (New Bosch Platinum +2, Cleaned the throttle body, New air filter, Oil change) I just replaced the thermostat and with that flushed the cooling system. The break system has new parts (rotors, drums, pads, shoes, Calipers, Rear Wheel cylinders, Stainless steel lines) Since the lady was a nurse and basicly lived out of her car and had kids the interior was in rough shape. I have completely detailed the car. All rugs and seats have been shampooed. After doing that it smelled a million times better and i felt clean after i got out of the car. The tires on it are in good shape, lot of tread left. For features the car has: Power Windows, Power Locks, Power Mirrors, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, Adjustable drivers seat, Full fold down back seat, 6 speaker radio, Automatic Transmission, Rear window defroster, 2.4L 4 Cylinder engine(which has a lot of power and good on gas), Tachometer, Locking Glove Box and rear seat Now its time for the bads of the car: The exhaust is the factory one and needs to be replaced. I could not believe that it was when i looked because it doesnt sound too bad but i would advise it be replaced is you cared about sound. The A/C does not work. It is full of R-143a but it needs 1 lb. of air in the system to work. The trunk release lever does not work. I took the lock out of the trunk so i could get into it. all you do is stick your finger in there and push it to the left. You have to know what your doing before you can open it. Friends and family could not figure it out. The drivers side rear door opens, but it needs a new handle which is like $5. It will need new tie rod ends soon, They cost about $20 if you get them on Ebay. The Tach does work but it all of a sudden stopped. It works on and off. Needs a new gauge cluster if you care about seeing the tach work all the time. I liked this car. I have driven it from Albany and back twice, Utica 5 times. It is a nice road car. On the highway i can get about 400 miles out of the tank. It cost about $43 to fill it. After did the tune up i was getting around 27-29 mpg's which i thought was good for a car and motor that size. Additional pictures availible apon request. Car can be viewed locally Any questions please e-mail me. Thanks, Dave... This car is listed locally for sale.
