Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Up for sale is my personal 1995 Ferrari F355 Spider. Let me explain a little about myself before I get into the description. I am not a car dealer. Simply put, I am just a sports car enthusiast who buys nothing but low mileage mint condition cars. That means that I am willing to wait days, weeks, months etc to find the perfect no nonsense vehicle. The reason for me selling this beautiful exotic is simple. I like to switch cars like clothes. Every spring/summer I like to enjoy and experience two new sports cars. This year my choices consist of a Ferrari F355 and a Lamborghini Gallardo. First up for this summer was obviously the Ferrari. I purchased this F355 Spider from a private owner out of California in September 2007. At the time of purchase, the car had only about 10,100 miles. The previous owner was a car nut just like me. His collection consisted mostly of foreign sports cars. He sold this F355 and replaced it with a 2008 Porsche 911 GT3. The Ferrari was stored in his indoor warehouse. It has never been in any kind of accident and has never had any kind of paint work done. It is all original! The paint is absolutely stunning as you can see from the pictures. It is extremely glossy and looks/feels like a sheet of glass. Under bright lighting it is ultra vivid and super eye catching cruising down the road. Under dim lighting it looks wet to touch and is reflective like a mirror. There is a small scratch on the bottom rocker panel underneath the passenger side door and a few small scrapes under the front nose of the car from being so low to the ground. Other than those two small imperfections, the exterior truly does look brand new. All the glass on the car is original OEM and free of any chips/scratches. The interior looks and smells brand new. The leather was conditioned regularly with leather conditioner to keep the suppleness and to keep it from stretching/shrinking. There is virtually no wear on the drivers seat bolster and absolutely none on the passenger side. On most F355's you will find that the passenger side airbag cover has shrunk and looks funny. This also goes for the dash as well. That is not the case on my F355 as you can see from the pics. Another common issue with the F355 interior would be that the HVAC setup/controls start to get sticky and gooey from being made of a soft runner material. These parts on my car aren't at that stage yet but may be in the early stages of it. The shifter knob and gate are nicely polished and are free of any scratches/chips. The mechanics of the car are all in perfect working order. The six speed manual transmission shifts smooth and crisp. The 3.5-liter 40-valve V8 engine produces 109BHP per liter or 380 bhp @ 8250 rpm 268 ft lbs @ 6000 rpm. At the turn of the key, the car turns over immediately and comes to life. The Michelin Pilot Sport PS2 tires has ample tread and are currently have about 80% remaining. The brakes stop quickly and have absolutely no fade. The suspension is nice and tight and hugs the road like glue. The convertible top opens and shuts with no problems. The leather cover for the top is also in excellent condition as well. The air conditioning works nicely and blows ice cold air. UPGRADES - Clear bra applied to front of car. This includes half of the hood, part of the front fenders, wheel wells and mirror housings. Professionally installed and is virtually undetectable to the eye. - K40 radar detector system installed in front of car. There is a switch in the center console for the on/off and sensitivity. - Tubi exhaust system. This addition makes the engine sound glorious. It is not to loud and showcases the symphony the engine produces. - Eclipse cd player and amplifier. Sounds very good and is not obnoxious. All high end components used. - KN air filters and new battery installed when I purchased the car. - Two way alarm system. Has a picture of the car on the remote and alerts you up to a mile away when someone tries tampering with the car. - Trickle charger installed for when the car is not used for a long amount of time. SERVICE HISTORY - These are all the recent records. There is a nicely put together folder of documents/receipts/records. - Rear shocks replaced at 8835 miles or October 4, 2006. - 15k service done at 8835 miles or October 4, 2006. - Front/rear engine cover/hood struts and bypass valve replaced at 8835 miles or October 4, 2006. - Clutch replaced at 8835 miles or October 4, 2006. - Fuel hose recall done at 88335 miles or October 4, 2006. - 30k service/engine out done at 4,897 miles or September 26, 2003. Upon purchasing my Ferrari I had a complete and thorough Pre Purchase Inspection done at a highly reputable Ferrari service center. My original first choice for this task was Eugenio's Ferrari service. He is very well respected in the Ferrari community and is the primo choice if you need work done in that area. After speaking with him in length, he informed me that he does not really perform PPIs anymore due to time and bigger jobs being in the shop. He referred me to a shop named Concours Ferrari Service located in La Habra, California. This shop performed a full PPI including a cylinder leak down test on the engine. The percentages were all grouped together tightly and the F355 passed the inspection with no problems. Since that inspection I have only put less than 1,000 miles on the car, so obviously nothing drastic would have changed since having it done. Overall my experience with this Ferrari has been very positive. It gave me exactly what I needed. A quick fix on an Italian exotic. Unfortunately/Fortunately my indecisiveness and growing tired of things quickly is leading me on my adventure for a Gallardo for the remainder of the summer. I have bought and sold over a dozen cars on Ebay before and I know how sometimes it can be troublesome. I am more then happy to help in the logistics for shipping this cars as I have a number of contacts for transporting high end vehicles. if you have any questions whatsoever, please feel free to call me at (412) 260-5877 between the hours of 9AM-9PM Eastern Standard Time. **I have the clean/clear title in hand. There is NO lien/loan on the title. Please visit a few of the links I posted below to take a look at a small sample of some of the other cars I have owned and sold before. These cars back up my statement about buying only the best. http://www.cardomain.com/ride/847720 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder VR4 / 16,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2220067 1999 Mitsubishi 3000GT Vr4 / 6,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2214867 1995 Mitsubishi 3000GT Spyder Vr4 / 7,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/399764 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT Vr4 VR4 Modified http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2120676 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT Vr4 / 26,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2774453 1991 Mitsubishi 3000GT Vr4 / 22,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2774606 1992 Acura NSX Supercharged / 38,000 miles http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2917313 1998 Dodge Viper GTS / 7,000 miles
