Vehicle Description
1982 Ferrari 400i. Serial number F101CL 36147 California car with new black paint and tan interior.DOT and EPA papers in hand, 43,000 miles. Rare 5 speed car, with dual air conditioning and fitted with MSD ignition. The car is still on its California title I can not find a bar sticker on the car, it may have come off when the car was painted. Service done two years ago which included valve adjustments, throttle adjustments. I have driven this car about 50 miles and towards the end of the drive it started to run better, it probably needs to be driven more to get rid of the old gas. Car need attention in various areas: dash leather has shrunk in the usual places, radio not with the car, mirror control switch missing, unknown switch on the left side of the dash pod is missing, rear vents on rear deck shelf are warped, exhaust has some leaks but can be welded up, rear bumper is warped one of the front lenses on the car is cracked. Car hesitates slightly probably due to old gas, Tires will need to be replaced at some point as they have good tread but dry rot. I feel this is a good car with a good heart and soul, that with some detailing could be a very nice car. Remember 5 speed cars are fairly rare, they are much more fun to drive than automatic examples There are no tool kit, jack kit or owners manual with the car. The paint is fresh and the body appears to be rust free.Car is located in Northwestern Connecticut about 75 miles north of New York City.
