You are bidding on one of the best driving Ferraris ever built, the
Mondial 3.2. It has the same power plant as the Ferrari 328 that has good performance without complex electronics and is based on the proven 308 series of engines developed over 10 years prior to the production of this car.
The car is finished in a unique color called Rosso Prugnia, with tan
Leather interior which are virtually unmarked. The car has been driven but amazingly the only flaws are minor stone pecks here and there and upon close inspection, there has not been any paint work since new. All of the wheels have the same finish which appears to be factory applied and still maintaining the decals.
The car has been maintained thoroughly with a cam belt, idlers, plug
wires, fuel filter, etc.. replacement in late 2005. It also received new Pirelli P0 Nero tires at this time. This car would pass even the most strict and thorough pre-purchase inspection, even the A/C blows cold! All other functions work as new, power windows go up and down with ease.
Since the car has never misbehaved in any fashion, not even an oil
leak, I have never done a compression test but I am 100% certain that it would show no loss of compression or any leakage via a leak down test. There is no smoke from the engine, it starts instantly hot or cold and shifts with no hesitation or grinding.
The car has all books and all tools, many service records and is in
need of nothing to be driven and enjoyed regularly. It is so nice and complete that I would be a candidate for a preservation trophy at any major Ferrari event!
