Vehicle Description A great daily driving example of this southern California completely rust free 1984 Ferrari 400i fuel injection automatic with all service records since 1991 and factory options including automatic transmission, central door locking, power windows, air conditioning and it's original 4.8L V12 engine with only 45K original miles! Purchased in 12/1991 with only 28,665 miles from the renown southern California classic car dealership 'The Chequered Flag' and always garaged and cherished by it's most recent southern California owner since this time with all service records from the renown 'Ferrari Technologies', Ferrari specialist mechanics of Orange County, California religiously kept in thick service file since 1991! The floor boards, trunk and all the typical rust-prone areas are completely solid and rust-free and the car has had no accidents - obviously a garaged and babied southern California driver only. The car looks extremely impressive with it's original 'Charcoal Black' factory color paint in very fine condition, with only very minor imperfections noticeable only upon close inspection and the interior is remarkable in that it is in almost completely original yet very presentable condition with only fairly minor imperfections such as faded color original leather seats and an always covered but somewhat aged original leather dashboard with some noticeable stitching splits at some seams. Please note the A/C is not working and we have not investigated the source of it's problem. The 4.8L V12 engine is extremely strong and powerful and sounds absolutely 'Ferrari' magnificent and this particular car drives absolutely magnificently - must be driven to be believed - a truly remarkable daily driver that will give any modern day sports car a run for it's money! For the last few years the owner has had the catalitic convertors installed in order to pass the California smog certificate and then removed for performance afterwards. They are sold with the car and stored in the trunk. The car has a current California smog certificate. This is a rare opportunity to own a great daily driving and never abused example of an always garaged and covered southern California rust and accident free 1984 Ferrari 400i automatic V12 in very fine condition throughout with it's original 45K mileage engine running great and in virtually almost completely original condition throughout! Owned for over sixteen years by only it's most recent southern California owner with all his service records available - from looking at these extensive service records you will see that at no time was any expense spared on this vehicle preventitive maintenance - literally thousands and thousands of dollars spent over the years! A perfect candidate for an easy restoration by the Ferrari enthusiast or simply a great daily driving example of a V12 automatic Ferrai for any classic car collector! VIN Number : ZFFEB06B000052535.
