Motor IS Electronic Ignition (no points) for better reliability and upgraded to 10 inch wheels for more stability at high speeds (these came with 8" wheels back in the day).
I would appreciate it if ony Vespa (or Ferrari) aficionados or those mechanically inclined or familiar with Vintage Scooters/Vehicles bid on this gorgeous ROSSO CORSA RED VLB 150 cc Model, expertly Rebuilt from the ground up... everything looks and runs amazing but keep in mind these awesome Italian Vespas have been running strong as every day transportation for over 40 years on the streets of Europe, Saigon Vietnam and other Asian countries and although super reliable some basic mechanical knowledge is highly recomended, such as changing the spark plug from time to time, adjusting brake/clutch cables, adding 2 % oil to the gas, etc... for those who take the time to care for these fun scooters, it should run and look great for another 40 years... !!! Similar to a classic car for example, you must be prepared to fiddle w/ these vehicles from time to time, but for fans of vintage, antique and classic stuff, it's half the fun... This Vintage 1968 VLB 150 cc, fits two riders, are awesome street-legal collectors items that are a blast to ride and should need nothing, as you can see from the photos. You can now customize or improve the scooter however you want to suit your personality !!! Bikes are masterfully restored by a Vespa expert -- and shows and drives like a dream... amazing for over 40 years old. My rebuilder put quality time into these bikes to make sure they run like a bike that he or I would want to own ourselves! And I DO own and ride my own scooters restored to the same specs.
New glossy paint and Chrome/stainless steel trim, parts are great condition original or or new remanufactured, with white-wall tires --cool stock look exhaust pipe.. a real beauty and with 150 cc, it really jams around town as well... turns heads on every ride. The bikes and I are based in Las Vegas, come to see (good excuse to party in Vegas and then take home something special), or just buy online and I will work with your shipper...you must arrange pick-up (or I can advise you on shippers)... As I have also advertised this beautiful scooter elsewhere, I reserve the right to end the auction at any time before auction ends on EBay .

Keep in mind, I have already incurred all the sizable costs and extensive time spent to import the bikes from Saigon, Vietnam into the U.S. including shipping by boat (45 days), customs clearances, arrival fees, customs broker, warehouse fees, delivery from warehouse, uncrating and prepping the scooters, etc... now all you have to do is take delivery, register (I provide all the documents) and ENJOY !!!
Although this bike is over 40 years old, and shows and performs similar to a new vehicle... there is not any warranty or refunds, but I will be availalbe to answer any and all questions, to the best of my knowledge, re repair and upkeep of Vintage Vespas... if you ever need them: parts are readily available and these vintage Vespa motors are virtually bullet-proof! As the motor is newly rebuilt, for best results take it easy the first couple 100 miles or so for a gentle break-in, resulting years of riding pleasure with your hard to find retro Italian Vespa. These bikes get about 80 mpg, run up to 50+ mph, and are a safe bet to go up in value someday !!!
Also, my restorer will guarantee all parts on the motorcycle for 30 days !!!
