Vehicle Description
1978 Fiat 124 Spider
Up for auction is this 1978 Fiat Spider. This car is ready for restoration. I am not a mechanic, so I can not offer any advise on the condition of any of the mechanics of the car, but I will list everything that I know the car needs to the best of my ability. I cannot guarantee that there is not more or less than I list, I just want to be as honest as I can. Due to the front end suspension needing repair, I do not recomend driving the car, it will need to be towed (flat bed).
Being sold "AS IS" due to it's age

It is a five speed manual transmission
Transmission and clutch seem to be in good shape

Comes with new seat covers
Comes with a Premier DEH-P200 Mosfet stereo/CD player with a removable face plate installed in the glove compartment. Speakers sit on the back seat.
The engine has some oil leaks
It needs front end suspension work, due to the oil leaks
The muffler is not orginal and may need to be replaced
The brakes are approximatly 80-90% worn
There is some surface rust on the chrome of the bumbers
I do not know if there is any rust to the undercarriage, assume that there is, so there will be no surprises.

The tackometer doesn't work, all other gauges do work.

Even though the car runs well, the car should be towed for your safety, due to the front end suspension and oil leak. You will need to make arrangements to pick up the car, I will help all I can to facilitate.

Once the reserve price is met this vehicle is to be considered sold in ‘as is, where is’ condition to the highest bidder with no guaranties or warranties implied or given. The balance in full is due within ten days of auction end.
