Vehicle Description
This is a fine example of the Fiat Spider 2000 convertible sportscar. Model year 1979 with 2 Litre engine has been properly upgraded to the Bosch fuel injection system which wasn’t offered until 1980 during the production years. This is a desirable improvement for performance, emissions and drivability. The 5 speed manual transmission is in good operating condition with no pop out in any gear. Brakes and alignment were serviced last year. Has the desirable 14” Cromalloy “turbo” wheels. Tires have usable tread but are older. An after market header has been properly installed for improved performance. Ansa dual tip exhaust. Nice Sony radio /CD changer with 4 speakers. New vinyl top. Boot included. Has a quality older paint job close to the gold/ Champagne metallic from the Limited Edition a previous owner was trying to recreate. There is no rust through anywhere, the paint is generally in good shape but there is some wear and dings including a paint bubble on the hood. The original vinyl seat covers are in good condition, the foam seat cushion has been replaced on the driver’s side. The heat, lighting, windshield wipers, instruments and gauges are all in good working condition. 2 sets of keys included. Owners manual as well as a factory service manual and several assorted other manuals and literature included. This Spider is in good operating condition for summer fun but as a 29 year old vehicle is sold as is. I will assist getting vehicle to local transport service if needed. Please email your questions.
