Vehicle Description Up for auction is a 1988 Bronco II XLT, Four Wheel Drive. I am listing this vehicle for a good friend from work who does not do Ebay. He is the original owner, having bought the Bronco new in Knoxville, Tenn. He has had it these last 20 years, always garaged and well maintained. He has driven it only 19,600 miles since purchase. He is selling reluctantly because he needs the garage space. The vehicle is in exceptional original condition; it really looks new. The paint is excellent with a super shine, no fading or scratches. Not a door ding to be found. The only things I did find were a couple of small indentations on the hood where it looks like a stone impacted (no paint damage). No rust ever on this vehicle thanks to its super low miles and the dry "no salt" winters here in Tennessee. Glass, door jams, edges and bottoms look new. The interior is in tremendous shape; the seats look new with no wear whatsoever. Dash is perfect, carpet is excellent, even in the rear hatch area. Never smoked in. Check the pictures....this vehicle has not been detailed in preparation for sale, this is the way he has kept it, all we did was take out the floor mats for pictures. The engine compartment looks like that of a one year old vehicle, again not detailed in anticipation of sale. Does not drop fluids. Chassis and frame look great...comparable to what you'd see on a one or two year old southern car. This Bronco is loaded with AC (blows cold), Cruise, Power Windows and Locks, Five Speed Manual Overdrive Transmission, Anti-lock Brakes, Tinted Glass, AM-FM Stereo Cassette, Luggage Rack on Top, Spare Tire Carrier and Cover. Tires have just 800 miles on them. Shocks have also been replaced. The 2.9 Litre six cylinder engine gets 18 mpg in the city and 23 mpg on the highway. All original owner paperwork is with the car, including the window sticker (listed for $17,446 when new), owners manual, etc. I took the vehicle for a short ride myself and it started smoothly and drove and handled as new with a very nice and smooth clutch and shift action. This would be a tremendous vehicle for someone wanting an "almost new" classic vehicle in exceptional condition. The owner (Carl), can be reached via his email at cvanjr@aol.com. Please direct your questions to him, he will be happy to respond to serious inquiries. He will also allow for inspections of the vehicle here in Knoxville by appointment before the auction ends. Also, please note that due to the potential that the vehicle could be sold locally, we must reserve the right to withdraw this auction without notice provided the reserve price has not yet been met. This vehicle is being sold as is, where is, with no warranties either expressed or implied.
