The Country Squire Wagon was the Queen of the Ford fleet for many years. This one is in an unusual, premium color called Primrose, it's a metallic color in good shape. This is the third Country Squire I've owned and it breaks my heart to sell it, but it must go to a new home. It has all the bells and whistles. Cornering lights, dual power adjustable front seats, power mirrors, cruise control, twin rear seats and the turbine wheels. . The air conditioner blows ice cold and all the windows and door locks work. The brown velour interior, as you can see, is fully intact. After I charged the battery it started up yesterday as if I had parked it the evening before, instead of a year before. This car got 20-21 miles a gallon on the highway, which is better than my Jeep Cherokee gets. It has had the crankcase ventilation screen that causes problems on the Ford 5.0 litre engine replaced, the A/C was changed to RC-134. The exterior sheetmetal is in pretty good shape as you can see, but the trim, as is the case on most of these cars, is ready for new decal material from stripeman.com There is, of course a fly in the ointment, and in this case it is the transmission which dropped 4th gear on my way home the last time I drove it a long distance,. I am out of work, and I was given a meticulously maintained Jeep and simply can't go for the transmission. I have driven two of these cars well over 200,000. mile sand fully intended to get more out of this, but things have changed. I have no idea how far it will go before the transmission quits completely, but for planning purposes I would assume either ship the car to you or replace it before pickup.
