Vehicle Description
I am the second owner of this vehicle. It spent the first approximately 100 thousand miles in California on salt free roads. The car has been very reliable for me. It has always started right up and ran well. The gas millage is pretty good. I'd estimate 30/35 highway and 25/30 congested city driving. As you can see from the pictures and video, the body has some damage. It was "hit and ran" last winter while parked. The rear bumper guard was broken and the the rear passenger corner dented. There is a little damage along the passenger doors as well. The ugliest part of the damage might be able to be fixed relatively easily. You would have to replace the cheap plastic bumper guard but since the body damage is under this, you would only have to roughly punch it out (since it would be concealed by the bumper guard). Anyway, it still has been driving fine and doesn't harm the functionality of the car. The rest of the body is pretty good for a car this age. Please see the pictures and videos for full detail.
I replaced the clutch a year and a half ago, the front break pads in May of last year, the front windshield this January. I have receipts which I will include for all these repairs (the clutch cost 865$). Other repairs within the last couple years which I don't have receipts for include new front tires and a new alternator. I replaced the radiator and timing belt a few years ago. I just put on a new fuel filter and plugs.
These are nice peppy little cars. You see in the video I include that it gets rite up to speed on an uphill on ramp onto the freeway. Also, in the first video if it's not clear, I was trying to film the exhaust, just so you can see it's not smokey.
I'm leaving for a backpacking trip a week after the auction ends so I need to take care of this quickly after the auction ends. A bidder asked me about the front bumper. I tried to make it clear in the picture but just wanted to make sure to make things explicit. As you can see from the picture there's a nick in the guard and it's slightly bent. It's minor but I just wanted to make sure everything's disclosed.
