Vehicle Description
1986 Ford Escort Lynx Diesel with only 113,649 original miles guaranteed. I bought this off a friend of mine who owned it for a long while that's how i know the miles are original. It was a daily driver up until two weeks ago. All it needs is a new fuel filter. come put one on and drive it home. I am only selling it because i am leaving the country and will no longer have a use for a car here in the U.S.
This wagon is everyday good condition and needs nothing to be registered except for a horn (it is currently regisetered however as most inspection places let this pass). Turn signals, headlights, and brake lights all work great. windows are all manual and even the radio still works.
Brakes work but could use a bleeding and i was driving it as is and it was fine. Does not leak any oil from anywhere or any other fluids.
Interior is in good condition with no rips or tears in the seats, they are however a little faded. The dash has several cracks but this doesnt affect anything. Air conditioning works but i believe it needs a recharge to blow ice cold again.
The Rear hatch is currently hooked down with a rubber strap as the back latch is missing. it does not wobble or clatter when driving and stays firmly shut.
There is a ding in the front right fender (see photos) and there a a few small cat scratches here and there as well as a couple of quarter sized depressions but nothing out of the ordinary.
Rust-wise this wagon has weak left rocker panels and also rust along the bottom of the rear hatch but nothing else. pretty good for a 1986 vehicle.
The hood gets caught temporarily upon opening but does open all the same.
Summarising this vehicle is in great everyday condition and with only 113649 original miles it will run forever. All it needs is a new fuel filter (diagnosed by a professional) but i don't have time, money or the effort to fix it as i am leaving the country anyways.
