Being sold AS-IS I’m selling my wife’s car. The car has been in sunny southern California for its whole life, so like most cars from this region it is in very good condition. I’ve included 30 pictures below, which tell most of the story, but I’ll list some things to start off with.

Passed California Smog Check in November of 2007. I will pay for a current smog check if the buyer is located in California. I will not pay for a smog check for an out of state buyer.
New TIRES were installed at 65,161 miles. Mileage is currently 73,020, so the tires only have 7,859 mile on them. Should be good for a while
MAINTENANCE - We had purchased Lifetime Alignment for this car at Firestone, so the wheels were aligned at least once a year (sometimes twice) for the past 10 years. This has helped to keep the tires in good shape. I can provide the winner of this auction with all maintenance records for this car dating back to 2002 (that’s when I started saving them). INTERIOR - Very Clean. We always had mats on the floor to deter excess dirt. The mats are not included (you wouldn’t want them anyway!). Radio knob pushes on and off, but the “push” part is no longer working regularly (it sometimes works). We just got used to lowering the volume to shut if off. No big deal. The cargo area cover works fine, but when you remove it one end tends to pop off. Very easy to put it right back on. There is a cola stain on the carpet underneath the passenger seat. It’s not very noticeable unless you move the seat all the way forward. I didn’t even notice myself until I vacuumed out the car a few days ago.
EXTERIOR - Very good with only minor COSMETIC damage (scratches and scrapes). As I mentioned, we’ve never had an accident. The scratches on the car all came from times the car was parked on the street or in a parking lot. Here is a list of the noticeable but minor cosmetic damage on the vehicle:
Paint scrapes on the front fenders on both sides around the wheel wells
Dent above the bumper on the driver’s side in the rear, which you can see in the photos
There is a very tiny starburst in the front windshield where a pebble hit the car on the freeway. It’s about the size of a felt tip pen point. I’ve gotten so used to it, I initially forgot it was there, but it is on the driver’s side of the windshield. It’s noticeable at first, but will quickly be forgotten as you drive the car. It doesn’t interfere with your field of vision at all
There is a strip of decorative rubber that runs along the top of each door beneath the window. This strip is pretty much worn away as you can notice in some of the photos. It doesn’t affect anything physically, but it is noticeable.
I’m letting you know about these little items because I want to give as accurate a description of the car as possible. Having said that, I want to let you know that the car is being sold AS-IS, so please read the description thoroughly, look at the pictures carefully and email me with any questions!
In April 2007 I replaced the battery in the car because I thought the old battery was dead. Turns out there was an electrical glitch in the system which we had repaired, so the old battery was still good. I will throw in the old battery with the car so you have a spare if you want it. Probably it needs to be charged again. But, the car comes with a one year old battery installed.
I also have a brand new air filter in its package I bought as a back-up. You can have that too.
In the photos you can see a parking permit sticker on the left rear bumper. I have removed this sticker since I took the photos.
We’ve treated this car well and it’s still in very good condition. It should last you quite a few years.
ONE NEGATIVE – The air conditioning needs repair. That will be up to the buyer. We will not be getting this repaired before sale. It blows fine and all the controls work, but the air never gets cold. I don’t know what’s wrong with it or how much it will cost, but it needs to be fixed (unless you don’t care about it!)
