1986 Ford F-150 flare side
The original drive train has been replaced in the truck with a Ford Racing crate 302. The 302 has a mild cam, 650cfm 4bbl Holley carb, shorty headers in front of 2 1/2" exhaust with flowmaster mufflers and 3" tips (NO CATS CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS MAY NOT BE STREET LEGAL IN YOUR STATE). The trans is a c-6 shifts great probably one of the best trannys Ford ever made . The motor runs strong but the carb could use some more tuning. The body is in decent shape no rust. The wood bed floor is rotten as you can see in the picts the metal supports are solid so the only thing you would have to replace is the wood its self. The bed also has a very nice diamond plate tool box with a cb antenna mount. The only thing that doesn't work is the fuel gage. I believe the sending unit and the gage its self works because I played with the wires and got it to work for a day or so. The interior is in decent shape has a pioneer cd player.
I'm only selling this truck because I live on a military base and base housing doesn't like me having 5 cars sitting in my yard. It is a very fun quick truck which you could use as a daily driver or a weekend cruiser. I was thinking about making it a 1/8 mile runner.
