Vehicle Description
1997 Ford F-150 XLT. The truck is a 3 door automatic in very nice shape. Has a matching cap that goes with the truck. Equiped with Tow package, ( receiver and ball not included) Brand new complete brake system. U joints, brand new tires. New belts, there is a lot of new parts because the truck sat in Florida in my parents garage for about 7 months. We decided to bring it to Ohio and took it to the shop for a tune up. $3300 later we had a lot of new parts. Truck drives straight and does not shake or pull. Brakes are great. Tranny is smooth. The only bad marks that cant be seen by photo is a crack in the passenders side of the Windshield and the Filler tube is starting to rust. When you fill the tank up it will drip real slow when you are filling it. We replaced the Alternator last winter and when i put it on, the cerpentene belt squeeked when i started it. It has an automatic tentioner but its stiff so the belt needs to be tightend a little more. The rust spot is under the drivers side cab corner.The heat, power windows locks mirrors seats wipers all work great. Lots of storage. The back seats flip down so you can put things on it and not get seats dirty. Bed liner and bed rail liners. Some slight rust can be seen in the photos but overall the truck is very nice. I would have no problem driving this truck across country. Plenty of room in there and great family truck! I took the CD player out of it but I will leave the adapters in so you can place a new one in the dash easily. Any questions just let me know. Once you commit to buy, the truck is yours. I will not accept any other offers besides the final price the truck sells for. We are moving to Texas at the end of the month so the truck has to be gone. No payments or waiting to pay. $100 deposit by Pay Pal will be needed and is non refundable. I will put that money twoards the total amount. Truck is registered in Florida but located in Ohio. This item is being relisted due to a POS bidder that said the payment was in the mail and wont return emails. Once you win this truck, its YOURS. Your first payment is due at the end of the auction that is 100. if you dont send the money within 24 hours, you will lose the truck and get some negative feedback. I dont care if you live 5 minutes down the road, $100 needs to go into my paypal account from you so it covers the fees. An update on the truck, I sprayed some engine foam on the motor last week and pressure washed the engine, when i started it, the check engine light was on. I took it to auto zone and they said it was just water because it wasnt picking up on the computer. I will try to go back in a few days and see if it went off. I will update it. blue book for this truck is over 4000, Its a nice truck, if it doesnt go for what I want, than im not selling it.
