Vehicle Description
Here is a great car to restore, its a 1967 Fairlane 500XL 2 door hardtop, with the 289 v8 engine on the c4 trans.
I have the build sheet on this car, which match the VIN number.

When I got the car someone had put new timing chain and gears in it I bought a new water pump for it and I have order a new Carb for it. The motor runs but the carb is bad the new one should be here Monday, at that time I will put it on and have it running on its own. I don't know what shape the fuel tank is in so I am running it on a gallon jug at this point. I have taken pictures of the bad spots on the car which all can be fixed. I have also put a new key switch in it. You can see from the pictures that the front glass is bad. All the chrome is with the car and the bumper and grill. The console is with it too but needs patching on the side. it also needs floor pans in it. The brakes are up and hold. The rear springs are not on the car they are in the trunk.
I have the title coming from the state it should be here before the auction ends if not I will mail it to the winning bidder. If you have any question please ask them.
I have told you what I know about the car.
I have not run this car on the road so I would plan on hauling

here is a update. I put the new Carb on the car. I hooked up the radiator and hoses, while i was filling the radiator it was filling my shoe it has a hole in the front of it. Somethings you just don't find out untill you try them. I drove the car a short distance, Trans changes good and motor runs good. The brakes work but need to be redone, master cyl is rough looking. The battery don't go with the car it is out of my streetrod i am also selling on ebay.
