This car was originally owned by an older couple and was maintained regularly. I bought it from the person who inherited it from their grandparents. The mileage is in excess of 100,000. I am not sure of actual mileage because the speedometer was disconnected when I bought it. It had only one dent on the drivers door which I have since replaced. The door I replaced it with isn't perfect but it is mostly straight. Every other panel on this car is perfect. All the glass is good. The last time I was underneath it the floor panels and wheel wells were all in really good shape with no rust outs only minor surface rust if any. The interior is in fair condition. The rear seat is in good shape but the front seat will need to be re-upholstered. Head liner isn't perfect but it looks alright as well as the front door panels. The dash has the usual cracks in the vinyl pad but the rest of it is uncut and original. The engine has been rebuilt. It was bored .030. The compression ratio was increased to 10.5:1. The rotating assembly was balanced. The intake manifold has been gasket matched to the cylinder heads. It has a four barrel intake and Edelbrock 600 cfm four barrel. Electronic ignition. Dual exhaust. The engine rebuild was around $1500 in parts and labor. It is going to need a new set of main bearing though. During break-in the main bearings failed. The machinist that did the work said he had about 3 sets of defective main bearings that week. The engine still turns over and runs but loses oil pressure when hot. The radiator will need to be replaced with the correct one which I have but needs to be rebuilt. Everything works except for dash lights and radio. The car is over 90% complete and is only missing minor trim and a few emblems. Car is sold as is with no warranty. Serious bidders only. This car will need to be trailered. Local pickup preferred. Shipping could be arranged but would be at the buyers expense and would need to be paid for in advance of shipping.
