You are bidding on a 1965 Ford Galaxie 500 2 door Fastback project car. The car does not run, but does steer, roll and brake. If you have been looking for a Fastback, this is a good restoration candidate.
Body is in fair to good condition...a few spots of rust showing low on leading edges of doors, trunk pan is quite rusty but rest of trunk is not. Fender wells and inner edges look good. Underside looks good, but has surface rust....see photos. Front bumper is missing, rest of exterior trim and rear bumper are there. Trunk does not latch. No keys. Interior is black vinyl with bucket seats and console shift in front....vinyl bench in rear. Carpet is bleached out . Door skins and dash in fair - good condition. Arm rests on doors are missing. Interior bright trim looks complete....a few pieces like shift knob and vent handle are not installed but are in car.
Odometer reads 70,130 but cannot attest to mileage. Automatic transmission with console shift. Car originally came with a 352cid engine but at some point a 429cid 4 bbl was installed. This is a Std 429 engine, coded D0VE-C.
I've used Marvel oil in the cylinders but it will not turn over I did not force it. Power steeing pump and alternator are disconnected.
VIN 5A66X183787, Trim Tag 63B86923D2114
Car is being sold as is, where is with no warranty of any kind.
