This is the perfect project for the first time do it yourself mechanic. What is up for sale are two Galaxies lets call them Rusty and Leaky.
Rusty (Brown Car) spent most of its life in the mid west, which shows by the rust, but didn't get out much (low miles 50k which is good for a car over forty years old). Its 95% original and even has the original spare tire and jack still in the trunk. By the way, you can see the ground from the inside of the trunk. The interior is in decent condition with a typical wear ie drivers side seat. Its got a 352 Big Block FE (Great Performance Potential ) which starts but needs battery, radiator, and alternator. Rusty is not drivable. Car is located in Matteson, IL
Leaky (Yellow Car) VIN 4J52C104330 and 96763 miles has lived a wild life, as evident by the grateful dead sickers on the window. Most of its life was spent on the west coast so it is SOLID but has a few flaws. Its banged up a in the front right fender and in rear. Which is great if you want to perfect your body work skills. And its got a weak ticker. An engine transplant, 1980 Ford 255ci (4.2 liters) 119HP, was done by the previous owner. The engine starts and drives but is leaking trans fluid (fill tube needs o ring), antifreeze (i think a hose is needed) and brake fluid (low pressure). The car is located in Crown Point, IN
By taking the best from both, together they would make really nice classic ride. In 1964 the Ford Galaxie was the premier muscle car in the US. Legendary in style and performance. You too can own a piece history at a reasonable price.
I have titles for both cars. Both come with 4 aluminum slotted mags each and extra wheels and a few other spare parts. These older cars are really fun and easy to work on.
Both do not come with a warrenty.
Pick up only
Please feel free to ask any questions you may have. I will respond as soon as possible.
Thanks!
