Hello and thanks for looking. I am listing this Model A as a favor for my Grandfather. He is in no way computer literate and he knows I am an internet addict and use eBay. The car belongs to His Girlfriend. The car is located in Las Vegas, Nevada where my Grandfather and her live.. It is a 1930 Ford Model A 5 window coupe with the original 4 cylinder engine and 3 speed manual transmission as well as having the Rumble Seat. The car has roughly 55-60,000 miles on the car. The Odometer/Speedometer was refurbished by someone less than 300 miles ago so it reads as having less than 300 miles on it. At roughly the same time the 4 cylinder engine was rebuilt as well as the 3 speed transmission. The head also had work performed to it. I don't know exactly all what was done to the motor and head my Grandfather only told me that they were "rebuilt." The brakes were converted over to hydraulic brakes from the manual brakes. I don't know at what mileage this conversion was done though. The car was going to be converted to 12 volt power but is still running on 6 volt. The car is very drivable in it's current condition. Or if you wish you can perform a restoration. They told me that the car needs a leaded substitute added to the fuel tank when you put new gasoline. Whether this is absolutely needed or not I have no idea. But they add it to the tank so I suggest you should do so. My Grandfather's girlfriend is the 4th owner of the model A. She bought it from a Roosevelt Family in New York. Her Brother works for them that is how she was able to buy it. I do not know if this Roosevelt family is anyway connected to any of the President Roosevelt's so that is something the new owner can investigate? The car is in really good condition for being 78 years old in my opinion. It is however 78 years old and has wear that can reflect that. Well that is all I know about the car. Use the pictures to look at everything else. If you do have any questions I can contact my Grandpa and see if I can get an answer. Like I stated above the car is located in Las Vegas. Buyer is responsible for picking it up or setting up some kind of shipping carrier. I take eBay seriously so DO NOT waste my time as I am not wasting your's. Serious bidders only. I will cancel bids from anyone with less than 10 positive feedbacks unless you have first contacted me. A non-refundable deposit of $1000 is required via PayPal within 48 hours of auction end. The rest of the money is required within 10 days. Failure of full payment or deposit will signify a deadbeat bidder and I will file a report with eBay, leave negative feedback, and relist the car. Buyer is 100% responsible for vehicle pick up or shipping. Payment must be received in full before shipping or pick up. I don't know if banks finance older classic cars but if they do then have all the financing done before the end of the auction. Look at the pictures and bid accordingly. All I know about the car is what I have been told. Thanks for looking and Happy bidding! If I reach my bandwidth capacity on photobucket and the pictures stop working I have a .rar file that has all 27 pictures that you can download. The file is 7.52MB and you can copy and paste this link into your browser. http://files.filefront.com/1930+Fordrar/;11152396;/fileinfo.html
