Vehicle Description
This is a hand fabricated, thus one of a kind hot rod, built today to “resemble” a 1931 Model A. From the new sheet metal body, to the hand stitched interior, from the firewall, to the tailgate, from the exhaust system to the vinyl top---
All of what you see now, (the designing, measuring, sheet metal forming, and welding, painting, assembly of driving, stopping, and wiring components) was done in one shop, by Tony and Katie Pruess. Both the Reserve and Buy it now price have been lowered due to the fact that we need cash to continue the next project. This is a great price for a one of a kind Rod...Good luck bidding!
This truck won best in class at the Auto Rama 2008 show in Salt Lake City.
This is a chopped and channeled version of a 1931 Ford 5 window truck that has:
All new steel hand fabricated body
a crate 350 Engine
new TH350 transmission
"Pete Jakes" complete Model A frame
Ididit tilt steering
dropped I-beam Axle
GM disk brakes
Ford 9 inch rear end
Edelbrock Tri-power
Walker Radiator
Steel 1932 grill shell
Foot-pop/hidden (undercarriage) door latch
nostalgic opening windshield
Vinyl top and interior
8 gal. spun aluminum gas tank
New Coker Whitewall tires
Painted chrome smoothie wheels
Very basic wiring system
I enjoy the artistry and challenge that comes with the designing and hands on fabricating of each new custom hot rod project. I respect the nostalgic tradition of hot-rodding, and thrive on adding my own custom style to this tradition.
