Fabulously original 1929 Model A Roadster. Registration history shows that this car has lived in Montana since at least the early 1950's. It was registered in Plentywood for at least 30 years and has been registered in Glasgow and Missoula for the last 24 years. It is currently located in Missoula where it has been with it's current owner since 1999.
This roadster has 80,000 original miles. Over a period of a few years around 1998, the car was disassembled by it's then owner, who operated a machine shop and who's best friend operated an auto painting business, and was lovingly restored to original condition. The car was taken apart piece by piece and all parts were refurbished, the paint was re-done and the engine rebuilt. Everything works on the car as original. The tires on the car are the second set it has ever had. The seats are leather. The radiator cap has the thermometer. The starter crank starts the engine easily and consistently. The title says that the color of the car is red, but you can look at the pictures and decide for yourself. The car has been used on special occasions and summer outings for the last 9 years around Missoula. It has no trouble keeping up a steady 55-60 MPH, even in the thinner air of the mountains.
