Up for grabs is this one of a kind rat rod. It was driven to local car shows and got lots of praise as well as laughs. At the Dakota Cruisers 14th annual Finalle, this car was used as a Trivia contest where the partisipants would try to guess what make some of the parts were originally used on. The winner only got 5 of the 13 parts listed correct. Many of the people wanted their picture taken with the car also. The basic body is the front half of a 27 Model T Touring. The engine is a 68 AMC 290 (225 HP). The tranny and rear end is also 68 AMC. The front end is 65 Corvair. Radiator is 52 NASH Statesman. Headlights are 52 Hudson. Speedometer is 63 Studebaker. Box is a 49 Chev (quartered). Fuel tank is Hyster Forklift. Horn is 52 Chev Pickup. Emergency Brake is 28 Wippet. Horn Switch is 52 Chev pickup (brake light switch). Brake light is 29 Model A. The frame is home made z'd and y'd to fit everything. It has some new parts (sorry I could not find good used ones) such as the electric fuel pump, spark plugs and exhaust pipes (no mufflers) and it sounds REAL NICE. Runs great and drives pretty good but the turning radius is a little wide (119 inch wheel base). I kept the original model T steering wheel and column but removed the gear reduction. The throtle lever (right) is the shifter and the spark lever (left) is the horn. The bird droppings are thinned bondo painted to look as real as possible. The bird nest goes with the car. The pictures were taken before the glass was installed. I think the windshield is Mopar but not sure I modified it to fit. The seats are Dodge van and very comfortable. It was fun to build and drive but it is time to start another project so this one must go as I need more room. There is no warrenty of any kind. I can help set up shipping if desired or you can pick it up. I will try to answer all questions to the best of my knowledge. Notice the Velosity stack is a true "T" BUCKET.
