Really nice 1926 Ford Model T Speedster. Has the right look, sits low, minimal body work, reminds you of an old indy type racer of yester-year. Put on your googles and leather cap, you will not believe the amount of attention this vehicle generates. This would make a great purchase for the buyer that would enjoy finishing up a few loose ends during the winter months and then enjoy on the road next spring.
I bought this vehicle with the intentions of making it a "10". I have found that I simply do not have the time needed and as a result it is up for sale. I have replaced a leaking headgasket, serviced all fluids, replaced the battery plus cleaned the fuel tank and carb (had been sitting in storage for some time). Starts and runs pretty well, transmission and brakes function properly for a vehicle of this era. Tires are 4.40/4.50-21 inch Firestone wide white walls on steel spoke wheels, they are in very good shape.
Last few things it needs would be to wire the lights, some attention with the dash gauges is needed plus I recommend upgrading to a brake system like the Rocky Mountain Brakes. I am certainly not an expert on the Model T's but I will attempt to answer any questions promptly and to the best of my ability.
I bought this on a bill of sale and never got around to titling the vehicle. Many places on the web to get a title for a vehicle of this vintage. Buyer will not have any problem getting titled, unit will sell with a bill of sale for this auction.
Payment by PayPal or Cashiers Check/Money Order is accepted. Must receive a $500.00 deposit within 72 hours of auctions closing and payment in full must be received within 7 days of auctions end. Failure to meet this payment requirements will result in the vehicle being relisted.
Shipping is the buyers responsiblity, I will however do all I can to work with your shipper. The vehicle is located in the Terre Haute, Indiana area. Good luck on this unique vehicle!
