This is the most unusual car I think that you will see. It is a 1960 German Ford Taunus 2 door wagon that appears to have been converted into a Gasser back in the 70's. This car is the size of a Mustang. It has the following: HiPo 289 V-8 with a Weiand tunnel ram roller rockers ported and polished heads two new Holley four barrels holley electric fuel pump tach, vac fuel psi gauges mounted on wiper cowl oil temp gauges in dash upswept zoomie headers with removable baffles one off fiberglass tilt front end top loader four speed straight axle front end with disc brakes 9 inch Ford rear end with 5.38 gears and a spool old school ladder bars removable wheelie bars interior has two diamond tuck black racing seats with matching door panels and inside walls. headliner and carpet are done in 70's black fur. five point cage with the battery mounted in the back lexan windshield and removable lexan side windows removable fiberglass front bumper old school Ansen sprint rims 15 x 5 front and 15 x 10 back with new tires also have a set of Weld Draglites 15 x 14 with BFG drag radials (345-55-15) available, may include if reserve is met This car runs great and is the most amazing thing that you have ever seen. Car is very solid, has good floors, no rust that I can see. If you are into nostalgia drag racing, this may be your car. It is licensed for the street with working headlights, turn signals and brake lights. When I drive this on the street, you would not believe the looks I get . Truly a one of a kind car. Don't miss your chance to own this!!!! On Jul-07-08 at 06:16:09 PDT, seller added the following information: The gasser also has an aluminum Chausson radiator, M/T valve covers w/ Offenhauser breathers, Accel coil, wires & plugs, Mallory double life distributor, new Moroso air cleaners, racing bell housing & drive shaft loop, old school Hurst V-Gate shifter w/ separate reverse lever & roller rockers. Compression ratio is 10:1. Paint is an 8 out of 10 with a few nicks and blemishes. Very small dent on roof. Chrome on back bumper is flaking some. Car is sold "as is" with no guaranties or warranty stated or implied. I can assist with transport through a very reasonable broker that I have used before.
