Vehicle Description
1966 THUNDERBIRD LANDAU
428 FULL POWER
*SAME OWNER FOR THE LAST 16 YEARS*
My father has decided to shrink his Classic car collection and has already sold several very nice cars. In the near future, he will be selling a a '57 Port hole Thunderbird; a '60 Thunderbird convertible {1st place at every car show it was ever entered}; a '64 Chrysler 300 convertible with wedge motor; and a '59 Cadillac convertible to name a few he has decided to let go. Everything he has collected is original, low mileage cars, no modifications or alterations. In his day, he traveled all over the country to find these classics, clean enough, to add to his collection. His age is finally slowing him to the point of not being able to care for all these classics, so he is going to keep only about a half dozen of his favorites.
This 1966 Thunderbird Landau hardtop with 29,843 actual miles, has a 428 cubic in. engine auto trans with console shifter, the famous swing away steering wheel and column. Power disc brakes up front with rear drum brakes. Power everything. The body is perfectly straight and original, bright red original paint with white vinyl landau top. Excellent original full black and chrome interior has bucket seats and needs nothing. There are no rips, tears, or problems. The tires look new, very clean under the hood, unaltered and original. When you look in the trunk, it has all the original covers and insulation, again, as new. Dad bought this car in Illinois years after a death in the family had put the car into storage down there. He bought this car in 1992 and has been carefully stored for the last 16 years and only leaving the garage to attend a few car shows a year.
