As you can see i'm selling a bunch of my cars, motorcycles etc. I am moving and can't take it all with me. I will be away on family vacation while these auctions run, but should still be able to check for questions. Buyer will need to come get their new stuff within 3 weeks of auction end. I will not ship!!!! I know everyone says this, but I hate to sell this car!
Its hard to find Turbocoupes and this one is the rare combo of black exterior and dark blue/light grey interior, 4 cylinder turbo with 5 speed trans and posi rear.
First thing I want to stress about this car is the fuel mileage. It was my top priority to squeeze as much out of it as possible and came out pretty well. To make sure of the mileage I checked the distance clocked on the car's odometer against google maps and it was accurate. I filled up till gas came out of the fill tube before the 137.8 mile interstate trip and also after the trip (best way I came up with to get accurate gallons used), 4.216 gallons used, calculating to 32.69 miles per gallon. I did not have headlights on, the windows were up and it was all interstate speeds of around 75mph. I didn't do a lot of city driving, but I assume city mpg at around 24.
The car is high miles, but it actually runs like a car with 60K miles. Its as powerful as a big v-6 when the turbo kicks in! It has a lot of new parts on it listed below.
The title is clear and in my name ready to be signed over. It shows miles exempt, but 167K seems to be accurate. Carfax report says something about a rollover on the odo, but I don't know why.

Need fixed:
Y-pipe, after the cat and before the new exhaust, at higher rpm has noticeable leaks. Too thin to weld up.
Rust repair - my body man says it will need new doors to fix the rust on the bottoms - see pics.
A/C - belt is off compressor, its all there otherwise, never checked to see what's wrong if anything.
Passenger door outside key cylinder does not operate door lock.
Emergency brake - cable is missing.
Fog lights - all there but wont light up.
One back-up light is out.
Hood insulation is pulling away - under hood light has also been unwired - see pics.
Headliner is falling a bit on drivers rear corner - see pic.
Low fuel indicator malfunctioning - comes on even when full.
Paint - clear is not peeling off but has faded in typical spots and the intercooler intake - see pic.
Options:
Cruise control in steering wheel - works.
Tilt steering wheel - works.
6 way power driver seat, power windows, power mirrors, power door locks - all work.
Programmable ride control seems to work - car rides smooth till you brake, hit a sharp curve, or punch the gas, then it drives like its on rails.
Power trunk and gas lid releases - works.
Rear window defroster has a few lines that don't work, but the rest do a good job.
What else?
Spare tire and equipment tested and functional.
Seat belts all functional.
All interior and exterior lighting is working except for one reverse light.
Tires all have more than %70 tread left, pass front tends to deflate faster than rest.
Shifter knob is from a mustang gt 1994.
There is a couple spare quarts of oil, water, plug wire, radiator hoses, etc in the trunk for emergencies - see pic.
The dashes in these car are prone to cracking, but this one only has a couple - see pic.
Front shoe mats are really nice, rears are only ok.
I didn't replace the O2 sensor as it looked new, but a replacement will be included if you want it for and extra $40.
I put a cup holder on each door as there are none stock, visible in pics.
Drivers side map pocket is missing.
It starts right up quickly every time, no erratic idle.
I checked the oil often and it seemed to use less than a typical amount of oil, less than a quart between changes.
Tranny shifts positively, no grinding.
