Vehicle Description
This auction is for my 1970 Ford Torino GT. A numbers matching car, Torino was originally white when we purchased, paint code M has been repainted Crystal White Clearcoat, base coat clearcoat, 1997 Mustang color. Torino had very little rust before restoration paint. All original fenders, quarters, hood, doors no replacement panels except to cut out rust replace metal. Most of the original chrome was used including bumpers, bumpers have not been re-chromed.
Engine is a 351 Cleveland, with 2bbl heads, converted to a 4bbl Edelbrock intake completely rebuilt with mild cam super comp ceramic coated long tube headers. Exhaust is mandrel bent with Flow Master kit, with 2 1/2 inch pipe.
Transmission is FMX-C4 automatic with 3500 stall, rear gears are 3.50. All new shocks, front rear air shocks.
Wheels tires are 17", 2004 Mustang wheels, tires in front , 24545-17 rear 28540-17, fitting under car very nice.
Miles when purchases was 02, 831. To my knowledge only tripped once. Less than 3,000 miles on restoration.
Also replaced were the leaf springs, brand new.
Inertior is 95% restored, front seat recovered, back seat original with all seat belts except shoulder harness in front, new headliner carpet. Small tear on lower cushion on corner of front seats. Dash is original with 2 cracks. Torino has an original Ford AM radio with hidden CD player with remote in glove box.
Trunk area fully customized with speakers 17" spare tire wheel to match. Courtesy light with 3 power outlets added.
Torino comes with Original Window sticker, lamented, first Bill of Sale with receipt attached, owners manual signed by designer, Bill Shenk warranty card.
