Up for auction is a 1973 ford grand torino sport Q-code factory351-cobra-jet. Last year of the fastbacks.Perfect to restore.The guy I bought it from did the research from Ford Motor Co.for ID. 3B35Q195853, This car is 95% original. This vehicile was produced on 4/5/73 with these options. Bright blue metallic exterior color, racing stripe, high back bucket seats, automatic trans, standard axle, factory tach, power steering, console, disc brakes, bumper protection, air condition, am/fm radio, tinted windows, visibility package, and rear defroster.THIS CAR RUNS AND DRIVES,but needs tune up, maybe carb. You can still test drive. The floors and frame rails are in good condition, the left rear lower quarter, needs replaced, (see pictures,worst place on car) left bottom door hinge pin, is wore,and left front fender has dent around side marker light. Other than that, the body is really nice. It's been painted once. It needs interior work, but not bad for a 35 year old car. All the guages work, all heater controlls work smooth, air conditioneer runs, but blows hot, rear defroster works, radio works.This car drives good and looks good, the front end is tight. The bumpers are straight, but need rechromed. Check out the pictures, This a excellent car to restore or do a very little and drive now. I have the Magnum 500's with it ,but they are rusty. I wanted to add this to the description. The right rear quarter window has been broken, I was rolling it up, it came off track, I tried to pick it up with needle nose pliers.(how stupid). I wanted to show some more pictures of the car. The pictures didn't show how thin the paint is, It needs painting, and the wheels are rusty, and the rear tires are dry rotted. thank you.
