Here it is!! Here is one of the coolest trucks around!! Up for auction is this Super Custom 1984 Short bed GMC 4x4 Pickup!! This is not your run of the mill truck!! This is a Custom Lifted Bad Boy Big Block 396 GMC!!! This truck is Bad to the Bone!! The truck started out as a nice 1984 GMC K1500 Regular Cab, Short bed 4x4. That alone is a hard to find truck! About 10 years ago the previous owner totally customized this truck to show! The truck was professionally lifted 6 inches with a skyjacker lift and shocks. He added a nice set of Ultra alloy wheels with Dunlop Radial Rover 35x12.50x 15LT tires. He then added a custom Caymen Green paint job with custom graphics. To make is even more custom the bed has been customized with a hydraulic lift! Hit the switch and make everyone’s head turn!! The interior was updated with new carpet and seat. A custom Jensen stereo was added. For finishing touches he added search lights, a bed cover, grab handles, lighted CB antennas, Lund Visor, fog lamps, dual exhaust, and much, much more!! Now that is one sweet custom truck!! But here is what makes this truck over the top and better than any others out there!! Under the hood sits a BIG BLOCK 396 V8 engine out of a 1969 Chevrolet Camaro!! And boy does this thing scream!! The engine is a true factory Hi Performance 396 which alone is worth thousands, and thousands of dollars!! We were told that at the time of building the truck the engine was also rebuilt and it has very little drive time on it since. The engine was also customized with headers, Holly Performance Carburetor, Eldebrock intake, and a chrome air cleaner!! It looks and runs awesome!! The 396 is mated to a smooth shifting 3 speed automatic transmission. If you want a truck that is out of the norm and will turn heads and burn rubber, this is it!! The cost to build this truck would be over twice our asking price!! The 1969 Camaro 396 Big block may be worth the asking price of the truck? This is a great truck at a great price and it will not last! As I mentioned the truck was completed about 10 years ago. Because of that is not perfect and does show it’s age here and there. There are a few things that the truck could use to bring it back to show, or you can drive it just the way it is and you will still turn heads wherever you go. The truck has no rust!! The paint is not perfect but respectable; it has some wave and orange peel. A few minor chips and scratches. I good buff could make it look great. Graphics look to be painted on. Roof has had 3 antennas removed and now has plugs in their place. The temp and oil pressure gauges have been replaced with aftermarket gauges that work good. The truck has two fuel tanks, one has a leak at the seam, but you can use the other just fine. This was originally an Air conditioned truck, but is no longer hooked up along with the heater core. The interior is very nice, but door panels are not perfect, and there is a trim piece on the dash that is missing. Power locks not working, and Cruise inop. The power windows work, but are slow. Typical for this year of truck. The interior is very nice, but the door panels show some wear and may need to be replaced to show. Over-all this is a very nice and very Custom truck!! Drive it as it is or with just a few fixes this one could be brought back to show condition!! Look all you want, but you will never find another like this one!! Priced to sell fast so it will not last!!!

We are Thiel Motor Sales Inc., Team Thiel Transportation Specialists is our eBay division. We were established in 1972 in DeWitt Iowa. The original founders were Jim and Mary Thiel, and their two sons John and Bob. At the time Jim had just retired from his job with the U.S. Government and John and Bob were both school teachers. Thiel Motors was to just be hobby for the family. In 1974 Bob Thiel left Thiel Motor Sales and teaching to become a partner in what is today Burnette-Thiel Ford. John along with his Father Jim and Mother Mary stayed at Thiel Motors to serve the DeWitt area. In 1992 Mary passed away after a bout with cancer. After her death, Jim decided to retire from the business and turn it over to his son John. John then retired from Teaching and went into the business full time. In 1997 John's son Jim came to work for the family business. John's other son Jon Jr. Came to work for the business in 2001. In 2001 Thiel Motors had grown so rapidly that they opened a second location in Clinton Iowa. Today Thiel Motors has grown into a Full sales and service dealership, specializing in Sales of Factory program Vehicles, trucks and SUV's, along with hard to find Collector vehicles as well as fine imports.
