Vehicle Description
You are bidding on a one of a kind customized GMC 3/4 ton 4wd pickup of vintage 1975.. This truck has a hand built, all steel custom tilt nose front end.. Latches much like C3 Corvette with a cable release to both corner latches.. Incorporates 80's style square lights and grille.. This truck underwent a frame-off restoration in the late 80's and was treated to Imron paint on all surfaces.. The body is painted white with Grabber Blue accent stripe.. Fender flares are molded right to wheel openings.. Current engine is a 57,000 mile 305 with quadrajet 4 barrel carb, hooker headers, Flowmaster muffler.. The transmission is a 700R4 overdrive unit that was rebuilt using best available hard parts and higher stall converter.. (less than 3,000 miles on rebuild) Rear axle is a Dana 60 with 4.11 gears.. Front axle has 4.11 gears as well.. Overdrive works great.. The converter locks up by manually flipping a toggle switch.. Best of both worlds with real low first gear to get out of the hole and o.d. to cruise highway at low rpms.. It's no slouch, I have 15 second 1/4 mile time slips to prove it.. Was set-up for towing with hitch and electric brake controller wired in for trailer.. Cap is fiberglass with sliders and screens.. Truck runs and drives great, has dual fuel tanks.. Truck has been sitting, but will clean up well.. Very little rust, but is starting to bubble on doors.. Frame and box are excellent.. Really nice unique truck for its age.. Must go, I have too many toys..
