Vehicle Description
i bought this truck five years ago from a Los Angeles County auction and it had 120,000 miles then. since i have put about 23,500 on it in five years or less than 5k/yr.
it was well maintained by the county (serviced regularly) and with me was no exception. the AC worked well when i got it, but about 6 mos later the electric cluthc on the compressor went out, so as far as i know, that's the only thing wrong with the AC.
always starts right up and has very good oil psi. gauge pegs and always has since i have owned it.
power steering and it drives very good.
the engine is a Tonawanda 454 7.4L V-8 so it has plenty of power.
the rear main seal drips a bit but not much at all for the mileage. trainny drips too but again very, very little.
since i've had it i had the radiator cleaned and cored, replace the alternator, and the transfer case ($1800).
BONUS is the 3/4 ton hydraulic lift gate and it works perfect with NO Leaks!
it also has s lumber rack.
there is a good spare tire in the back and the tire on the truck probably have 20-25k left on them.
the body is in overall good condition and it has a few small dings and scratches but nothing big. after all, it is a constructin work truck so on that note, it's in really good shap!
the bed had dents in it from working, but there is nor rust anywhere or holes.
the interior has some minor rips and tears, but again, its a work truck.
there is an overhead spot light throught the roof you can control but the light is burned out.
