Up for bid is a heavy duty three quarter ton GMC Suburban 4X4. This is an eight lug 7900 GVW 454 powered people and equipment mover. It also has the heavy duty 4L80E overdrive transmission with 4.10 rear end ratio.What this means is this truck will tow a house. I have personally inspected and road tested this truck and here is what I have found. First of all the engine runs nice and strong and the transmission shifts perfectly. The steering and brakes feel good as well. As part of my inspection I have checked and topped off as required all of the fluids. Including the rear end , transfer case, and front differential.The front end is tight and the brake linings have plenty of life left on them. It does have some oil leaks showing but not real bad.It does have some miles on it so it is not going to be like brand new.But the wear is not excessive for the year and mileage. The exterior finish still looks very respectable. There is a small rust through spot on the right rear quarter by the rear tire.(common) It does have some small scratches and dings again consistent with the year of the truck. The interior looks decent as well. All of the power options work as they should.The A/C does work but is fair at best,nothing adding a little more refrigerant would not take care of. The only other thing I noticed is the left rear door will not open. I think it is just the lock knob is stuck in the locked position and the radio does not play.I have a stock radio for it if you like. I just thought some one would want to upgrade to an after market radio. This truck is priced right at well below market value even taking into consideration of the current gas prices.
