You are bidding on my 1998 GMC Yukon SLT 4x4.
I have owned this vehicle for 3 years and I wouldn't hesitate driving it anywhere. I bought the truck from a dealer in Florida back in '05.
The Good:
The frame and undercarriage of the vehicle are exceptionally clean. A very light dusting of rust discoloration on the frame is it. Over the past 3 years a number of items have been replaced. The truck has pretty much a new front end with upper and lower ball joints and idler and pitman arm that were replaced last year. New rotors and pads also. New Radiator, water pump, RH Head (had a hairline crack around the valve). All new gaskets including exhaust manifold, intake (upgraded to the newer style for longer durability), valve covers and a # of others. Recently installed new plugs as well as AC Delco Cap, Rotor Plug Wires ($250+). Tires have less than 250 miles on them. KN Air Filter. The truck runs great in both 2wd and 4wd. It has never been used to plow. Pretty much a family grocery getter. The truck has the tow package with working electrics for trailer lights as well as receiver.
The Not So Good:
The truck has rear air as well as front, air conditioning stopped working last year. Never got around to having it serviced. Interior of the truck has some wear. Leather seats have some cracking in the fronts, especially the drivers right hand arm rest as well as the steering wheel (wheel has a cover on it now). The plastic bezels around the gauges have some cracks (very small), Ashtray is included but the little mounting rod that it fits on was missing when I bought it, we don't smoke so I never bothered getting it fixed. The driver power seat works fine but the heater modulator I believe need replacing. Heat for passenger works fine. The far right dash board vent box was out when I got the truck, it is included but never got around to fixing it. The truck has keyless entry with an alarm system that works fine, however, the passenger door lock does not function with the keyless, I believe it needs to be cleaned in order to work. It does function by hand. There are some various dings on the outside but it doesn't look that bad. The passenger side has a very minimal spot of light surface on the two tone section. The very tops of the front fenders have cracked paint and there is some spots on the roof where the paint wore off also, quite common.
Keep in mind. I'm not a dealer but a private owner that has used this truck for the past 3 years. I would not hesitate driving this truck anywhere. It gets about 15mpg on the highway. The 5.7L 350 has tons of power. The cruise, power windows, door locks (with the exception of the one noted), power seats work. I am listing this far below Kelly Blue Book. I'm selling this because my father is selling me his newer truck.
Please come out and take a look at it. Go for a ride. It was recently inspected and passed NYS inspection. The title is NYS and is clear and I have it in hand. There will be no games if this truck sells. You will receive a signed title as well as the NYS sale form signed off on to take it and put it on the road for yourself. I think my feedback speaks for itself when I say bid with confidence.
