OK, now that we have that out of the way.....
Geo was GM's first organized marketing plan targeted at selling import made cars in the American market.
The idea was to cheaply make vehicles by sharing the expenses of design and construction with the import manufacturer, then selling these cars for a little bit less than their import competitors and seeing who won. In the end, the two Suzuki vehicles (Metro and Tracker) beat out their foreign competition Swift and Sidekick.
EPA Milage rating was 50 MPG for the manual and 42 MPG for the manual transmission. WOW!
This car is all there and runs, BUT needs some TLC.
1) ignition miss / stumble in at least one cylinder. Smokes some. Could be worn.
2) hole in muffler/pipe. Easy to fix that.
$100 deposit must be made within 48 hours of auction end, either over the phone via credit card or through paypal.
Payment through PAYPAL is accepted, as are cashiers check and personal checks. Credit cards are accepted in person at time of pickup. Vehicle must be picked up within 1 week of auction end.
Car is sold 'as-is'. NJ residents must pay sales tax. TEMP TAGS are available for $25.
