This auction is for a very nice Geo Metro Convertible. Florida - No rust car.
I’ll describe the car as well as I can. I purchased the car about 1 and a half years ago and have driven it only in summer. The engine purrs like a kitten. The transmission shifts smooth, however it is tempermental and sometimes required to start off in 1st gear and shift up to drive. It shifts smooth automatically no problem majority of the time. I have heard this is typical for these cars. It seems to wanna be a race car and shift like a Nascar at times. I was told it needs a speed sensor. I dont really mind shifting manually once in a while. It has new brakes and can be driven anywhere safely. No engine smoke and good power.
The Bad: The top will need replaced eventually. E-bay sells them for $175.00 The shift lever indicator does not indicate gear position. P-R-N-D-1-2. Not hard to determine though. Their are miscellaneous small scuffs around the car, I tried to show all in pics. The driver and passenger windows have a light scratched line from something inside the door rubbing. The interior has minor imperfections, No major tears or stains. There is a pea sized rock chip center front windshield but does not have cracking and not in driver or passenger view. Steering has a little play but safe.
The rest of the car is solid.
This car will be very dependable and economical to drive.
I have averaged 45 MPG on this car and have enjoyed driving it very much
