1993 Geo Metro
Ok Kids , here we have a nice little Geo Metro up for sale. This car was one of those Police impound vehicles and the owner never picked up the car. We have a Lien Sale thru the DMV and the car is now ready to be sold. California recognizes mechanics liens as clear title but check with your state. This is NOT a salvage title, all the Lien does is over ride any paperwork the previous owner may have had.
This car seems to run and drive just fine , however it does need a new clutch. It is in decent shape and has the typical dings and dents associated with a car of this year. The inside seems nice with the exception of the inside drivers door handle which needs replaced. Tires are in fair condition and can be used . It is a hatchback style with seating for 4 . All in All this is'nt a bad looking car. This would be a great first car or a good commuter car with gas prices on the rise yet again. These cars were known for their unbelievable gas mileage back in the day.
The tags just expired in February on this car and DMV estimates $68 for registration fees to re-new them. I would say if you live close , you could drive this home , but it will more than likely need to be towed to have the clutch replaced.
