1988 HONDA ACCORD LXi (No Reserve)
You are looking at a 1988 Honda Accord LXi with 179,000 miles on it and it is in great condition. The car’s features include:

Engine runs great. No knocks, pings, or noises. It has no oil leaks, but I do keep it checked on a regular basis. I normally added about ½ quart per month when I was driving it regularly. Starts and drives fine. It is hard to start after the engine is hot and has a low compression reading on cylinder #2 (#1 – 135, #2 – 60, #3 – 155, and #4 – 160). Not being mechanically minded, I have no idea why. The check engine light has periodically come on and off since I have owned the car. Other than that, the car is great and I know of no other defects. I drove it to work (30 miles), so after it cooled down during my shift, I drove it home with no problem. Transmission shifts smooth and car cruises easily at 80+ mph. Recent (within last 5,000 miles) new parts include: starter, left axle shaft, plugs and wires, battery, timing belt, tires, and brakes. Regular maintenance (oil change, rotate/balance tires, etc.) with documented proof. The car has been well maintained as the photos show.
The condition of the car is well above average for a 1988 model. There are no dents or rust (just a minor door ding here and there), but being 20 years old, there are minor scratches as can be expected. Paint and glass are in nice condition. There is an aftermarket radio, but I have it unplugged. It does work, but the LED dial is shot and the speakers do have static.
Everything on the car works: all electric windows, electric door locks, cold A/C, electric sun roof, window washer, etc… The cloth interior is in great condition with no rips or tears. Headliner is in fine condition and the dash has no splits or cracks. Trunk is clean and dry with a spare (donut) and jack.
I have owned the car for three years and never had any problems. Our daughter has bought herself another car, so we now have this one as an extra. Overall this is a great dependable car.
