This here is my 1989 Si crx that I purchased as a shell last year, Ive spent the past 8 months working my way through buying all top of the line parts. I got a b20 block from a buddy and had the whole top end rebuilt with all type R components. The Bottom end had rod replacment and low compression pistons installed for a blower set up I anticipated but never did. A large majority of the work was done for me by a shop named HM motorsports, the intake manifold was sent out it has a top of the line 421 JTR header, the fuel injectors are from a used type R but were cleaned out and such, Hasport everything from mounts,shift linkage, to axles rated for 300 HP. To make a long story short I really invested thousands into this car finally installed the engine got it running great until we all were dumfounded to find out that the shell has abad electrical short. The mecanic and my buddys say that its somthing like a loose ground or somthing to that nature, at this point I bairly have much left to my name and am not about to invest anything more into this car when Im now out of work, in horrable debt and am leaving for afganistan in nov. theres to much to list and so much more to tell. also braind new Type R trans 4.4 finaldrive from acura.
