Vehicle Description
Up for sale is my red 1989 Honda CRX (Dx model) with 170k miles. It has a 4-speed automatic transmission that smooths shiftly into all gears. I purchased this car just a few months ago with only 168k miles. Unfortunately, I need to sell it because I am moving to the Philippines next month.
The engine, transmission, steering and suspension are stock. The wheels are aftermarket and have wheel locks to prevent theft. The previous owner did a tune up with new spark plugs and wires, PCV valve, fuel filter, and vacuum lines. I had a new catalytic converter installed, a taillight replaced, and a new rear tire and new wipers put on. The brakes and tires have a lot of life left in them. The stereo system works and sounds great, and also has an anti-theft faceplate. This car is running strong and can easily be driven for another 20 years. It gets excellent gas mileage (30 mpg in the city, 40 mpg on the highway).
The car has AC (air conditioning) but it is currently not working. The heater is working fine. The motor mounts are worn, which causes a slight rumble when the car is at a stop. The idle jumps after starting the car up for a minute or two. All lights are working except for the interior lights. There are some minor problems with the body and interior, which I will list next to the pictures below, so please read this entire listing carefully.

I require a $500 deposit within 24 hours of the auction close. I will accept PayPal or a USPS money order as a deposit and payment. The winning bidder must also contact me within 24 hours of the auction close and the purchase transaction must be completed within 5 days.
The buyer is responsible for pickup or shipping of this vehicle. I am located in Flushing, New York. If you are in the area, it is highly recommended that you check the car out in person before bidding (please send me a message to schedule an appointment). You may also have the car checked by a mechanic in the area.
