I am selling this 1990 CRX Si, which I have owned since 2000 because I have no use for it anymore, and don't ever forsee having time to fix her up. When I finished high school I put the car into storage, and it has been garage kept and not driven since September 2001. It had a 1st gen B16A in it before anyone else was swapping motors. I pulled and sold the motor last year to fund a snowboarding trip in colorado, and here the car sits. It is in need of a motor, tranny, ECU, motor mounts, and shift linkage. Everything else is intact and the car is ready to drive after that. It has some old APC adjustable coilovers on it, along with some drilled rotors in front. I would recommend replacing the suspension and brakes, as they have begun to show their age as evidenced when I drove it before I pulled the engine, but they DO work. Being a 1990 Si, this model has the highly desirable rear disc brake setup. The unique thing about this car is that it has ZERO rust anywhere on the entire car. However, it has it's fair share of dings and dents. I have gone throughout the entire car searching for rust and I have not found ANY (this includes the honda hotspots for rust like the bottom of the doors, the rear fender well, and sunroof area). I have a plenty of pictures to back this claim up. Just shoot me a question with your email address and I will send a 6mb ZIP file with about 50 photos. The chassis has about 160k miles on it, 130k of which were done by the original owner who was about 40 years old, and before anything was modified. I have a short list of service records and the original owners manual as well. I am sad I have to get rid of it, but my desire to tune cars is just gone. The car is located in Sugar Grove, IL, in the same garage it has been stored in for the entire time since 2001. I am requiring pickup, but I am not being strict with the time. Once you pay me, I will give you one month to arrange pick-up of the vehicle. I am including a new battery and also a new heater core with the car. It has infinity speakers in it and an old Pioneer headunit. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
Thanks!
