This is a 1998 Honda Civic Hatchback, with many mods. I bought the car and found out a lot of the stuff had been done, no where near professional level. My friend and I, who is a certified mechanic, tore the car down to nothing but a shell and rebuilt it all. Most of the aftermarket parts are brand new. I haven't been driving the car because I want to keep mileage down, because I'm selling it. The parts have around 100miles on them. Heres a list of the parts on the car:
EXTERIOR:
-Updated to 99-00 Civic front end, including hood, lights, fenders, bumper, and lip
-Headlight bezels painted black (Type R look)
-Carbon fiber rear spoiler
-Rear lower lip
-Painted white, done by previous owner, not the greatest, but not too bad
-Red 16X7 Rota Track R wheels
-Brand new Falken 912 tires, 205-55-16
-Datum1 red tow hooks, front and rear
-6000k HIDs
-New white foglights
INTERIOR:
-Black leather RSX front and rear seats (brackets need made for front seats, wasn't a top priority)
-Si gauge cluster
-JVC cd player
-Pioneer speakers
-Skunk2 shift knob
-Blox single bend short shifter
-Stock gray EK seats, currently in car
-Dash was removed to replace the dash harness with an OEM Honda one, b/c it was cut when I received the car
ENGINE/DRIVETRAIN:
-B16a2 (out of a 99-00 Si) - motor has been tore apart, all new gaskets and belts, including head gasket and timing belt, ARP head studs.
I was told the engine has approximately 40k on it
-Si Transmission same mileage as engine
-Brand new F1 Racing Stage 1 clutch and Chromoly 9.5lb flywheel
-Skunk2 intake manifold
-Hondata intake manifold gasket
-Apexi World Sport 2 exhaust
-test pipe
-CAI
-SS Header
-Skunk2 oil cap
-Skunk2 battery tie down
-Engine bay freshly painted flat black
-Engine cleaned and painted
-New fuel filter
-Chipped P28 ecu, tuned with Chrome
SUSPENSION: ALL NEW
-Form and Function Type 2 coilovers
-Blox rear lower control arms
-C pillar bar
RANDOM:
Replaced floor harness with genuine Honda part (harness used to connect p/w and p/d). Car runs and drives good, engine is smooth, tranny feels perfect. Just had the valves adjusted as well.
Please note the title reads 127,000 miles but the odometer reads around 80k, thats because the odometer was replaced.
There is no drivers side airbag, it was broke when the steering wheel was removed. The passenger one is out of the car but comes with it, very simple to put back in.
I was going to put a carbon fiber tray in, just never got around to it. Basically I got screwed when I got this car, nothing was what I was told.
I don't want the same to happen to anyone else, so please ask as many questions as you want.
I'm selling the car because I have an S2000 as well, and only
need one project car. I'm a college student so I need to just get a normal daily driver and save money.
Also the car is in Ohio, but since I decided to sell it, it still has a Florida (clear) title.
Please no trades, and the buyer will be responsible for pick up and/or arrangement of shipping.
