Wow! Have I got a great car for you!
IT'S THE PERFECT CAR TO TAKE ON ROAD TRIPS WITH THE FAMILY AND JUST IN TIME AS GAS PRICES ARE RISING EVEN HIGHER!
Up for auction is a 100% clear NY title, 1 owner (female-owned), fully LOADED 97 Honda Civic EX sedan (has every single feature and extra possible). It's got A/C (just recharged - blows ice cold) and power everything - mirrors, windows, locks, and sunroof (no other model but the top of the line EX has it) Hands down one of the best parts of the car. But that's not all. The car also has a remote starter so you don't have to go out in the wintertime in freezing cold to warm up your car. Just push the button on the remote and your car will start from your home without you being in it - a value that's priceless.
Aside from the extra goodies, the car has been repainted a gorgeous mint green color, that interchanges as silver in the nighttime (silver cars are known to be in less accidents due to their reflective properties in the dark). Definitely no other car on the road like it.
The paint is in excellent condition, with the exception of some minor front bumper peeling and scratches. Since the car was only repainted on the exterior, the original dark green paint under the hood and behind the doors still exists (see pics below). Some minor flaws include the cruise control buttons being a little cracked (still working - see pic), and the defrost button being loose.
Also just to be honest and disclose all information, the car has been in a few minor accidents (one while the car was parked). It was all fixed professionally and never damaged the body or chassis. Original VIN stickers are still on the fender and bumper to prove it was nothing more than cosmetic, otherwise the title would not be clear.
Mechanically the car needs absolutely NOTHING! Has had all it's scheduled maintenance and oil changes, even a new clutch put in recently ($760). Engine is powerful and strong, 5 speed transmission is as smooth as butter! It actually runs and drives like a brand new vehicle, which is truly unbelievable for a 140k mile car.
Note: Don't ever be alarmed by high mileage on the Hondas. They've been known to last over 300k if well-taken care of like this one.
Personally, I think this car is perfect for anyone, especially someone who wants a reliable, safe, and well-taken care of vehicle. The colors gorgeous.
