I am selling this car simply because I do not drive it enough. I purchased it in November of 2005 with right at 76,000 miles on it. In the past three years I have put a little over 6,000 miles on it. I have 2 other cars and really don't need the 3rd. The car drives fantastic and there is nothing that can compare to driving it a sunny summer day.
The car may have a couple hundred more miles on it before the end of the auction because I will probably drive it a little this weekend.
One of the Cleanest S2000's on the market. Car has been meticulously maintained and garaged, it has not seen the rain in the 3 years that I have owned it. The previous owner also garaged it, but drove it daily, he did however, maintain it properly and when I purchased it still looked about like it did when it rolled off the showroom floor.
Typically AP1's suffer from a couple of different pitfalls; the OEM top leaks from wear and the rear window yellows, the center console carpet typically is severely warn and dingy, the radio is almost impossible to hear with the top down, the 2000 models did not come with a wind deflector and the factory 16" rims do not fill up the wheel wells.
All of these Shortcomings have been rectified:
1. The original top with plastic window has been replaced with the new style top with Glass rear-window
2. The Center Console has been recovered in matching leather with Rick's Center Console Cover
3. The stereo system has been completely upgraded, the headunit is a Pioneer Premier with IPod Hookup, Sirius Tuner and the Door Speakers have been upgraded to components and are powered by a 300 Watt X-Tant Amp mounted in the trunk. The install was professionally done and is ultra-clean, the amp and sirius tuner are mounted under a false floor in the trunk and supplied with cool air by two fans. Also, the factory dash controls are still functional thanks to the addition of a DEI interface
4. The rims and tires were replaced less then 1500 miles on them. The rims are 17" wrapped with BF Goodrich g-force T/A Tires 225/45ZR17
5. An OEM Wind Deflector has been added

2. Clear Side Markers
3. Black Chrome Emblems (Trunk Emblem Shaved)
4. Rick's One Piece Floor Mats

Only Known Issues:
1. Windshield, the windshield has a couple of small rock chips, I will be glad to have the windshield replaced at the buyers request.
2. Leather Seats show normal wear for a 8 year old car (see photos).
